The Ultimate Dreamers are a post-punk / cold wave band from Brussels who worked on some demo’s between 1986 and 1990. They got revamped and remastered. On the 01/10/2021 they launched their first record via via Wool-E Discs / Dans les Profondeurs as a vinyl & CD. Later on they signed a nice deal with Spleen+, played a lot of great gigs and it looks like they are aiming for the sky now as the sky will be the limit!
This is what I wrote about this remix when it was released:
Each song is featured again in a remix form starting with Big Violent and a stunning sharp groovy EBM remix by Patrick Codenys of Front 242 that is bound to become a new club hit in no time. It's as if you hear on of the Front 242 man singing but it's still the original voice and this also shows that this could have been a new Front 242 track and gives hope for their fans too as the craftwork mastery is still excisting! Patrick did a great job! It’s another song that has to be played on all the radio’s and really deserves the massive airplay!
I hope this one will get them more gigs, more airplay etc ... Just a bit sad they didn't release it one week earlier (week of the Belgian music)! SO cheer for them and play it as much as you can and talk about it as much as you can as this band deserves it!
