Today is an exciting day for the Kings of Sin, Daemon Grey. The band drops their debut full-length album "Follow Your Nightmares" worldwide via Out of Line Music!
Accompanying the release of the band's new record, making this day extra stellar, is the newest single and music video for ‘Isolated’. It is a song about the fight for truth and embracing one’s vulnerability and how this can often lead to a sense of separateness from the world.
The music video sets an ominous mood. As Grey puts it, "we wanted to treat it more like an abstract short film. Our vision was a more mature, slick video with horror movie influences and raw emotion. Being a huge fan of horror movies, I brought the horror concept to the table. Rich (video director) found the perfect house, set the mood, and brought it to life. The storyline itself follows the meaning and tone of the track. Overall, it was really exciting to make a video, unlike anything I’ve ever done. I think the whole team was thrilled how it came out."
After releasing a slew of singles throughout 2020, including ‘King of Sin’ which has since surpassed over 200,000 streams on Spotify, the band's album is finally out worldwide. "Follow Your Nightmares", the mantra Daemon Grey lives by was forged alongside Grammy-nominated producer Gavin Brown (Three Days Grace, Billy Talent), Mike Riley (Marilyn Manson), and Kevin Thrasher (Escape the Fate). Daemon Grey has carved out a distinct corner of the metal genre with hard-hitting songs that appeal to the most discerning fans as well as the metalhead that lives inside us all.
Grey (vocalist), explains, "I think our true passions are hidden underneath our deepest fears, not our dreams. To unleash our true potential, we need to tear down layers of insecurity with courage and strength. I’m thrilled to be sharing our debut album with everyone today!
