After five years of silence, Siglo XX returns to the stage (sadly had to miss their last gig in Belgium in Magasin 4, due to Covid-19). The line-up is identical to that of the celebrated 40 Years Tour in 2021, including original member Antonio Palermo. For this special night, the band promises a grand show, enhanced by special guests and a surprising setlist that both digs deep into the past and takes unexpected turns. Siglo XX grew into one of Belgium's most intriguing and influential new wave / post punk groups in the 1980s. Characterised by an austere, dark aesthetic and penetrating lyrics, the band managed to build a loyal cult status at home and abroad. Their music exudes a sense of urgency and existential tension, timeless and elusive.
I have seen their last gig before Covid-19 started and I can confirm that they are on fire with an excellent singer (who replaces the original one): it's on fire, passionated, great, timeless, will give you goosebumps ... Expect nothing but the best from this living legend! My dream to see them one more time has become reality! Don't miss them!
