Thrash collective Grindpad returns with the re-release of their ‘’Violence’ on vinyl with 2 bonus tracks. The vinyl was mastered (and the 2 bonus tracks mixed) by Erwin Hermsen at Toneshed Studio (Legion of the Damned, Deadhead, Headless Hunter). The releasedate for this re-release on vinyl is March 22, 2025.
When Grindpad released their full album ‘Violence’ in 2020, it was meant to pave the way for the band. With a strong release in hand, two big release shows planned in both Utrecht & Berlin, it was supposed to be their moment. Sadly, Covid ruined everything; the lockdown started LITERALLY on their releasedate.
Fast forward, 2025. 'Violence' is already 5 years old and Grindpad celebrates this with a re-release on vinyl!
Following the success of the EP ‘Sharkbite!’, Grindpad prouves once again that they can not only improve but also create a full-length album packed with high energy, violence, and dare we say... fun thrash metal. ‘Violence’ is a masterpiece of up-tempo songs that make you want to fight the neighbours, but also features great mid-tempo thrashers that make you want to bang your head.
