King of Goth Pop Chris Pohl (Blutengel) continues his passion project SHE HATES EMOTIONS. For his new single + music video "Lowest Of The Low" he joined forces with no other than Marc Massive from MASSIVE EGO, treating listeners to one of the darkest SHE tracks so far, that however doesn't stray from the band's usual catchy synth-pop sound.
Chris about "Lowest Of The Low": "Thematically, one of our darkest songs. It's about the feeling of never being enough in this world. High expectations and pressure from all sides. You feel like you're at the "lowest of the low", the inner demons take control and it ends in suicide."
Marc about "Lowest Of The Low": "It’s been an absolute pleasure to work with Chris again, this being the second single together. As with our last duet ‘Nothing But A Void’, Chris sent over a fabulously 80’s sounding demo track needing lyrics and me being something of a product of that generation I found it a lot of fun. My lyrics of late reflecting on my ‘fall from grace’ as mental health got in the way as a result of life and people conspiring against me. On the road to recovery and looking after my well being after hitting ‘The Lowest of the Low’ and wanting to find a way out, hence the title. A serious subject matter but with a strangely quite uplifting delivery as any 80’s pop song should have."
She Hates Emotions is set to release brand new album "Future Unknown" on October 4th via Out Of Line Music. >> Pre-Order Now: https://SheHatesEmotions.lnk.to/FutureUnknown

In the beginning of 2020, the debut album “Melancholic Maniac” was released alongside two music videos produced by Sven Friedrich from Solar Fake (“See The Light”) and Nils Freiwald from Erdling (“Edge Of The Night”). Although this release coincided with the Covid pandemic, it gained success nonetheless (#24 of the Media Control Charts).
Due to Covid, tour plans only became possible with the following album “Happy Pop Music” in 2022. January and February 2023 then began with a small club tour and ended with a successful show at M’era Luna Festival in front of thousands of fans and curious new viewers.
