Speaking on the inspiration behind the track, "I have a son who is on the autism spectrum, so I'm part of a support group for parents like me. We support each other as we navigate the challenges of ASD." The song's lyrics draw inspiration from discussions within their group. The accompanying video for "Sword Through My Neck", in true Psychic Graveyard fashion, is incredibly surreal, featuring a repeating set of jaws singing the tune.
