Cool to see this band played in places like Italy and Germany! In February they will play in Paris (France). Without the link with Abhcan I would have known about this band and thus once again kudos to the Kracken Metal Rock Festival in Ittre who programmed this band in June 2022!

The album begins with a spoken word intro called Of Shadows And Man

Smoke And Mirrors is a nice but typical female fronted heavy metal track. I already noticed in the past Lina Victoria had a great voice and a really good stage performance as I run into her as frontwoman of Abhcan and this one just confirmed it! The rest of the band really lifts the level of the song to a higher level and that really satisfies me! Enjoy the clip too:

Call My Name has a modern metal touch mixing sweetness with roaring guitars and hammering drums. The vocals go high and low as if it’s just like a walk in the park during a sunny day! Seems to be the most popular track on Spotify (from this album).

Ghost Shadows has already been launched with a clip and really sounds great (next to the really well worked out lyrics about Anxiety and mental health). I also adore the violins in it.

Stuck In Your Head starts slowly, but builds the tension up. The song has a sweet sound, but doesn’t keep stuck in my head unlike the title. With this I’m not saying it’s a bad track.

My Own Foe starts with strings that gets pushed away by shredding guitars and hammering drums. The vocals also sound at some point harsh before stepping back to the sweeter sound. It’s clearly a song that swings into different directions and styles!

Resemblance Of Light mixes the soft and hard side and gives us the best of both worlds. I like the roaring guitar sound and the great variation in the tempo and sound!

Haven sounds fragile in the start with the strings, but gets a more heavy sound once all the instruments get awakened. Even the vocals get a bit fired up.

We All Are Shadows also starts with fragility and violins but becomes a pretty strong song and brings a strong message too (just listen to the lyrics)!

Bridge Of Minds is the last songs and can be described as a power ballad that slowly builds up (even with distorted vocals). The song nicely mixes power with fragility!

It was fun and cool to listen too! I hope to see them on stage in Ittre or on any other stage in Belgium!
