Wolfchild isa platform game originally released for the Amiga and the Atari ST by Core Design in 1992. WOLFCHILD is a Cinematic Folk Rock band haling from Seattle, Washington. But it’s also an electro project. And today I’m writing about this electro project as a birthday present towards the man behind the curtains! It’s a Dutch/German duo (you’ll notice it when you check the title of certain songs).
Spirale der Leere is the first track: a synth and other electronics. The sound is pretty modern and could be used in movies as end title or to start a gig with! World of Distortion could become a dancefloor filler if DJ’s would pick it up. I feel the right vibes for it! Wenn der regen reminds me a bit of Diorama (and that is a good thing). I just start to miss vocals a bit, but won’t hear them. My Biggest Enemy doesn’t sound aggressive. It’s even getting hard to recognize one song from the other. Bear the Weight sounds light and spring minded. Am Abgrund sounds a bit more elaborated and has something that sounds close to a chello. The song mixes techno with a classic music touch. Blut Irrt Sich Nicht has a bit more pathos whilst Beyond This Pain starts softer with a piano synth on the lead and towards the end even some beats. Gottes Spiel sounds more enlightened with in the background a slice of a classic music touch and yet also some beats. My Own Flesh and Blood starts with a classical touch, but opens later on the door for the electronica. Last one is called: … Und dann vor den Toren des Reiches. The song slowly builds up from a piano lead song to a more up-tempo track with beats.
