The Graspop 25th Anniversary Anthem is without any doubt single of the week! It's a real anthem and performed by the best people from the Belgian metal scene! Raise your horns and scream all along or simply headbang all along! Enjoy & check out the other songs too!

GLINTS - ROMA
Glints raps about his and everyone’s split personality on brand new single Roma. Grandiose choirs and horns fused with synths and beats. Never before was Glints’ upbringing as an opera choirboy so informative to his sound. Produced by his beat-brother-in-arms Yong Yello, the two set out to create a whole new majestic universe. In Roma Glints raps about his and everyone’s split personality. On the one hand trying to be good, efficient and mature; on the other being self-destructive, manic, and Dionysian. In the verses he tries to keep himself in check, but with the motto ‘when in Rome’ as a call to arms, his impulses always seem to get the better of him. In the manic outburst of a chorus the genie gets out of the bottle as we hear an arena of people chanting ‘Roma Roma’. So let’s raise a glass to our mistakes!

GRASPOP METAL MEETING - 25TH ANNIVERSARY ANTHEM

THE metal Anthem of the summer! Devil horns up, fist in the air, heads banging, Graspop celebrates its belated 25th Anniversary in style! Tijs Vanneste (Van Echelpoel, TV personality and former member of Oceans Of Sadness) teamed up with powerhouse drummer Mario Goossens (Triggerfinger, Sloper), Johannes Van Audenhove (Evil Invaders) and Sybren Camerlynck (Fleddy Melculy) to deliver a modern metal banger!

KATY J PEARSON - ALLIGATOR

Katy J Pearson has shared Alligator, the latest track from her forthcoming new album, Sound Of The Morningreleased on Heavenly Recordings on Friday 8th July 2022This follows previous tracks Talk Over Town and Game Of CardsTalking about the track Katy said: “I wrote this track with Dan Carey at his Streatham studio. The lyrics are quite literal and were born from the idea of dissociation when experiencing anxiety. The chorus note ‘it felt just like a dream, and it keeps on happening’ refers to when you are really stressed, things just don’t seem real. There is this juxtaposition between the lyrics and the soaring chorus which is quite euphoric – it’s quite tongue in cheek and I like that about it. Dan played the bass on this track and Yuri from the band Honeyglaze played drums which really gives the track some gusto!”

AOIFE NESSA FRANCES - EMPTINESS FOLLOWS (RADIO EDIT)

On May 9, Irish singer-songwriter Aoife Nessa Frances announced her signing to Partisan Records and shared brand new single + video Emptiness Follows from forthcoming LP. The track is a mesmerizing, pastoral piece of psych-folk, the playfulness of Aoife’s instrumentation juxtaposed by her beguiling voice as she meditates on the pain of friendships drifting apart (“the weight of the water / it holds you and tortures time away from you”). It's also the first taste of the follow up to her much loved 2020 debut Land of No Junction, with further details to come.

JOYERIA - WILD JOY

Speedy Wunderground are excited to announce the signing of London-via-Canada's Joyeria (pronounced Joy-a-ree-a), along with new single Wild Joy.  Originally from Canada, Joyeria has spent his adult life patiently crafting his own path as a songwriter in London instead of following his heroes and peers in search of an assumed authenticity in Austin or Nashville. Joyeria says of the new single, "If 'Wild Joy' is not an ode to the world’s greatest dad or the working stiff — it’s the song of a man who has remembered what to do with memories and what can be recaptured and re-enacted, perpetually in music."
