C. Duncan has a nice and mellow song with his new single: Earth. But Jonathan Jeremiah beats them all with his new single: Horsepower For The Streets! I like the classic string approach and retro sound. It feels like hanging in your couch and listening to a golden oldie that already conquered our planet and was in almost every country number one in the charts! Enjoy and check out the rest!

JONATHAN JEREMIAH - HORSEPOWER FOR THE STREETS

Horsepower For The Streets is Jonathan Jeremiah’s kick-off single for his same-titled forthcoming fifth album on September 9. The first single is arguably the essence of Jonathan's musical output. His vibrant soulful voice and deep lyrics, meet a groovy rhythm section and insanely well-arranged strings that are reminiscent of iconic productions by Lalo Schifrin, Michael Kiwanuka and Terry Callier. The album was recorded in a renovated monumental church in Amsterdam, with Amsterdam Sinfonietta, a 20-piece string orchestra.

BALTHAZAR - LINGER ON (COMPACT DISC DUMMIES REMIX)

Belgian art-poppers Balthazar have teamed up Compact Dummies for a new remix. It's always great to have a good tag team working on a great song! But from the comments underneath the fresh clip I can understand that not all the fans love it. Well: just listen to it and check for yourself!

ONEDA – VIBES

OneDa’s signature lyric 'Manny on the rise' applies to the rapper herself too. She’s on the rise with high-vibration collaborations (Gabe Gurnsey, Mr Scruff) that combine catchy wordplay and gold-plated flow, all fired by an empowered philosophy that she shares in her regular Pussy Power talks. The music bumps and rolls, bringing pumped-up basslines, spare drums and grimey synths that provide the perfect landscape for her vocal vibe energy. “Vibes is all about bringing the correct energy, and protecting your own energy at the same. I believe we were placed on this earth to shine and guide. This song encapsulates the essence of shining in your power (“I bring Vibe, Energy pon vibes”) and guiding (“wanna see the sights?, Jump in my ride…”), Vibes brings high vibrations and powerful energy.

C DUNCAN – EARTH

Just two weeks away from the release of his new album Alluvium on Bella Union, C Duncan shares the track Earth from this much-anticipated LP. Commenting on the track Duncan says: “'Earth' is a mixture of the melodramatic and the mundane. It’s apocalyptic on one hand, and on the other it’s an account of someone packing up their personal belongings and relocating before the sun fades from existence.
