Born somewhere in the beginning of the new millennium, risen from the mud, blood and gore in Flanders, Belgium, we present you Solifugia, the lovechild of Centurial and Locusta. After some line-up changes this quintet showcases their affection for Death Metal in the vein of Bolt Thrower, Gorefest, Atheist, Vader and Carcass (some excellent name-dropping, is it not!?).
With a demo (Arraneae Attack – 2001), an EP (Rampage of Brutal Revenge – 2008) and a full album (The Ultimate Promise of Evil – 2016) one can hardly say that they are very productive.
2024 however will mark the birth of the new EP “Ageless Sadism”, self-produced and mixed and mastered by the mighty Dan Swanö at Unisound Sweden.
Maybe the wrinkle in the big metal pond will expand a little…
This is steaming Death Metal!! Don’t take yourself too seriously, you will eventually die! Cheers!
