"Gather around, boys and girls, we have an announcement to make...

Robin, our beloved bassplayer, felt that the time had come for him to do something else and decided he wanted to leave the band. Though we regret this greatly, we wish him t

he best of luck with anything he wants to do and we all know and want the world to know that there are no hard feelings involved. We're sure our paths will cross somewhere in the future. You go do what you have to do, man. We love you and it's been a very fun ride!

But like the phoenix that rises from the ashes, a new hero has risen to join our ranks! We'd sure love it if you all helped us welcome GLENN "Criek" VAN CRIEKINGEN (Follow Victor, ex-Vincent & Jules). He'll be filling Robin's shoes (not the ones he found in a dumpster in Paris...) and we are absolutely positive that he'll do this like a pro and we are absolutely positive that it's gonna rock!

So, what to expect from us in the near (and not-so-near) future?First of all, we're going to put a show together to give Robin the farewell he so rightly deserves. We'll keep you guys posted on the details as this thing takes form. When that's over, we're going to start rocking out with Criek on the bass and we'll finally be able to start writing some new tunes for the full-cd we'd like to throw in your faces next winter!

As you can see, this most certainly is not the end of Get Off My Shoes. No, we're gonna keep on truckin' and we're gonna work harder than ever to get our music to the people who want to hear it!

Thanks for reading, thanks for the support, thanks for watching Robin play in the past, thanks for dancing and singing along, thanks for everything!

We'll see you all very soon...
