Heerlijke Metalcore en Hardcore is wat de klok slaat op Groezrock dit jaar. Na het aankondigen van enkele pareltjes, zoals H2O, NOFX, The Offspring, Alkaline Trio, Madball en The Devil Wears Prada, komt Groezrock werderom met enkel klinkende namen op de proppen! Zo kondigde ze vandaag twee legendarische Larries aan via de bands The Lawrence Arms en Larry and his Flaks! Daarnaast kondigde de organisatie ook nog I Killed The Promqueen, Brand New, Iron Chic, Everlast en The Ghost Inside aan! De organisatie heeft ons dus duidelijk nog meer redenen gegeven om naar Meerhout af te zakken op 2 en 3 mei 2014!

Starting with no less than two Larry's.
The first Larry recently signed to Epitaph Records and hasn't visited Belgium since Groezrock 2006. Yes, Chicago's the Larry Arms, probably better known as THE LAWRENCE ARMS, is coming back to Euroland! Zzonk!
The second Larry is none other than LARRY AND HIS FLASK. They've already toured with everyone from Frank Turner and Dropkick Murphys to Strung Out and The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band and will now introduce Groezrock to their acoustic punk-bluegrass that is so smooth it would make even Catwoman purr. Kapow!
Australia's metalcore powerhouse I KILLED THE PROM QUEEN just released a new single called "To The Wolves" that hits harder than one of Ra's al Ghul's left hooks. It's a prelude to their new album "Beloved" which they will gladly present on Groezrock. On that same downtuned note, we'd like to let you know that BURY TOMORROW will be representing the UK's metalcore scene. Ooooff!
Having been around since 2000, they're not exactly new to the scene anymore. Actually, they helped shape the emo scene with legendary albums such as "Deja Entendu", "The Devil And God Are Raging Inside Me" and "Daisy" that came with more angst than Scarecrow could ever induce. That's right, BRAND NEW will be playing at Groezrock. Whack!
With Bridge 9 as their new home and a new album called "The Constant One", IRON CHIC is back for another round. They counter their depressing lyrics with plenty of melody and sing-along action and have written more anthems than the Joker has tricks up his sleeve. Whamm!
Pack it up, pack it in, let me begin... After having been one third of House Of Pain for a couple of years, whitey began singing the blues and hasn't stopped since. Some say he's even better with words than The Riddler. We'll have to see about that but we're willing to bet EVERLAST can still make audiences jump around. Zap!
Last but not least, THE GHOST INSIDE will dish out some of their technical metalcore tunes that come with plenty of breakdowns which will heat up the moshpit to the point that even Mr. Freeze will begin thawing. Crash!
