Tribe Friday is a band of guitar slinging emo kids from the woods of Sweden who marry the rugged indie rock dancehall sounds of the early 2000s with Gen Z post-pandemic party vibe bliss. Upbeat songs about self deprication, identity, confusion, love and death are anchored by sarcasm, wit and charm.

Previously Featured on EarmilkAlternative PressAmerican SongwriterAtwood Magazine and more, the group released their debut LP, bubblegum emo, in June 2022 to critical acclaim as they infectiously introduced the world to the Swedish invasion with charting hit "shut me up" (over 1.2M streams to date). They've had several singles on rotation on Swedish National Radio P3German Radio (Radio Eins, Flux FM, Star FM, etc.) and Radio X continues to support each release from the band. Legendary Jack Saunders loved the band and hyped the single Swimsuit on his Future Artists show on BBC Radio 1, and his colleague Nels Hylton did the same on his show Future Alternative a couple days before.

Swedish bubblegum emo-pop band Tribe Friday are back from touring the US and Germany and kick off the summer with new single Salt Clouds, released June 20 via Icons Creating Evil Art. Sophomore album 'Hemma' coming later this year. Noah Deutschmann, lead singer of the band, explains their inspiration and creative process for the single, "Salt Couds" is based on a few pages of scribbles I wrote when visiting home last year. I realized I'd placed a lot of blame for me being the way I am on my surroundings, and that I had a lot of built up resentment because of it. That's what the song is about - pointing fingers at everyone except the one responsible. It's a letter home, and an imaginary letter back."

Inspired by artists like the Strokes and My Chemical RomanceTribe Friday has created their bubblegum, emo rock sound. In their upcoming album, they were able to apply their improved songwriting skills and producing to reflect on their stories about growing up, as Sweden greatly impacted their music style. Their indie rock sound will have you jamming out to some of the saddest, but honest lyrics about growing up.
